Sweat equity at Hamilton Heights

Karen Jesionowski’s voice broke as she spoke the words of the American dream.
“You don’t know how proud I am to be here right now,” said the middle-aged woman in work boots to the crowd of 100 gathered to celebrate her and 19 other low- to moderate-income families about to move into homes of their own.
“I never thought in my whole life I would build a home and own it.”
